Eastern Region
Eastern Nepal is a international of its personal. the flavors of this vicinity are very specific. diverse hill-based ethnicities – awesome from those in the western and important elements – call this vicinity home. the makalu base camp, kanchenjunga, and an japanese direction to everest are the more famous treks on this area. those are routes quite less travelled and consequently best for the ones looking for solitude.
This region, like any other in Nepal, has substantial climatic variations. There are warmer rice-growing parts as well as colder tea-growing parts. The tea plantations of Ilam are particularly famous. Rhododendron forests found in this region are known, justifiably, to be the most spectacular.
The mountainous parts of this region are, relatively speaking, less inhabited. Expeditions must therefore be self-sufficient. There are several exquisite trails in this region, some of which are listed on the left side of this page. We are, however, open to hearing your suggestions.
