Nagarkot is a former village development committee located 32 km east of kathmandu, Nepal in bhaktapur district in the bagmati region and as of 2015 a part of mahamanjushri-nagarkot municipality. on the time of the 2011 census it had a population of 4571 and had 973 homes in it. at an elevation of 2,195 meters, it is considered one of the most scenic spots in bhaktapur district. it is known for a sunrise view of the himalayas consisting of mount everest as well as different peaks of the himalayan variety of eastern Nepal. nagarkot additionally offers a breathtaking view of the kathmandu valley.the scenic splendor of the area makes it a totally famous hiking path for vacationers.it's miles located about 7000 toes (2000 m) above sea level and 28 km from kathmandu global airport.
