History
khaptad country wide park became hooked up in 1984 on the advice of the area’s holy man khaptad baba. the famend khaptad baba ashram, a non secular website online in which hindu pilgrims come to worship shiva on the overall moon of july–august each year, is located close to the park headquarters. a buffer area of 216 km2 (eighty three sq.mi) turned into declared in 2006.
Khaptad Baba moved to the area in the 1940s to meditate and worship. He spent about 50 years as a hermit and became a renowned spiritual saint.
